Our wedding ceremonies are conducted by our Celebrant, Becky Thomas. Becky will work closely with you to ensure your wedding is personal, meaningful and unique.

Barnoon Chapel stands majestically overlooking Porthmeor beach, with views towards The Island and St Nicholas Chapel.
With capacity to host up to 50 guests, this unique venue is perfect for smaller, more intimate ceremonies.
Not only does this venue offer beautiful views of the Celtic Sea, it also provides a real sense of tranquillity and serenity.
The Chapel, built in 1857, welcomes you with its original exposed stone archway doors, and upon entry the ornate features, pews and altar really show its natural charm and ambience.... and why not ring the chapel bells to let the entire town know you are celebrating your union!
This is an idyllic and breath-taking destination to celebrate your special day, providing an unforgettable and unique setting in which to hold your ceremony.
The Chapel is easy to reach from the harbour area and is neighbour to the Tate Gallery.
After your ceremony, the Porthmeor Suite at the opposite side of the chapel is the perfect place to hold your drinks reception. It’s warm, neutral décor can be personalised, and the setting easily transforms to suit any style or theme.
The Porthmeor Suite is perfect for a sophisticated, yet relaxed and friendly get together where you can raise a glass and enjoy a buffet together with your guests.
The views that naturally surround this stunning venue provide a vibrant and colourful backdrop for you and your guests to enjoy.
Barnoon Chapel is a spectacular venue that will suit a couple looking for a majestic and unforgettable wedding venue steeped in history, character, and grandeur.
At the north-west corner of the famous Barnoon Cemetery, you will discover 'Venton Ia', or St Ia's Well, a Holy Well named after the 5th-century Saint who is said to have arrived at the chapel from Ireland borne on a huge leaf. This well served as the main water supply for this area of St Ives until 1843.

As part of the Chapel package, your bespoke ceremony will be written and delivered by our Celebrant, Becky.
Becky will work closely with you as a couple and help to create your perfect ceremony, ensuring your special day reflects you as a couple and is filled with love, laughter and happily ever after!
